Spots for Columbia University
Feb 2nd, 2008 by J. O'Brien
Here is a recent set of spots I made for Columbia University. I took a slightly different approach with these, silhouettes with texture. The stories were about measuring artifacts (two versions here), home mortgages, and something about the UN and money. I built the backgrounds from a previous image to give it a random starting point and then placed the foreground elements on top. The palette was tweaked here and there as well. This was a very satisfying process, much more direct than my usual, arduous method.
