3×3 & MFA

This piece was selected for 3×3′s Illustration Annual. It was an image I made for City Pages, one of our local weekly papers, for a story about an Oscar Night shindig. I thought the party would be more about the people and the food so I pushed back the Oscar element and emphasized the relationship between this couple. The technique is painting with texture using layer masks in Photoshop.
By the way, finished my MFA at Hartford. Here I am with my hat (picture to come).
